Email Address:If you subscribe to our newsletter ("The Dream Journal") or download our free resources, we collect your email address. This is stored securely and used solely to send you content updates, new articles, and occasional product recommendations.

Usage Data: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, approximate region, device and browser type, and referral sources. This data does not personally identify you.

Dream Entries & Account Data: If you create an account or save entries using a dream journal feature on this site, we store the email address you sign up with and the entries you choose to save, so that we can show them back to you. Your entries are private: we do not publish them, sell them, or share them with third parties. You can request deletion of your account and all of its entries at any time.

What we do not collect: we never ask for or store payment card details, government identification, or precise location.

Data Retention & Security

We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Saved dream entries are kept until you delete them or close your account. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule (currently 14 months) and is not personally identifiable. The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and subscriber and account data is stored with reputable providers behind access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately hold as little as possible.

Children's Privacy

Dreams & Myths is written for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
