About Dreams & Myths

We explore the stories the unconscious mind has been telling since the beginning of time.

Dreams & Myths was born from a simple observation: the stories we tell around campfires and the images that visit us in sleep are cut from the same cloth. Both speak in symbols. Both carry truths that the rational mind alone cannot reach.

We believe that understanding your dreams — and the myths that echo through every culture — is not a luxury. It is a practical skill. One that sharpens intuition, deepens self-knowledge, and connects you to something older and wiser than any algorithm.

What started as a personal research project has grown into a library of over 350 articles spanning dream interpretation, Jungian psychology, world mythology, and the science of sleep. Every piece is written to be accessible, honest, and useful — whether you are a seasoned lucid dreamer or someone who just Googled “why did I dream about snakes.”

The Founder

Forrest Webber

Forrest is a writer, builder, and lifelong student of dreams and mythology. He wrote Dream Soil, a practical guide to deep dreaming that has helped thousands of readers build a real dream practice. He founded Dreams & Myths to make the wisdom of the unconscious accessible to everyone — not just academics or mystics.

When he is not writing about archetypes and sleep cycles, Forrest builds software companies in Austin, Texas. He believes the best ideas come from the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern technology.

Editorial Philosophy

Depth Over Clicks

Every article is written to teach, not to game algorithms. We go deep on topics that matter.

Practical Wisdom

We bridge the gap between ancient knowledge and your daily life. Theory is only useful when applied.

Honest Inquiry

We separate what is known from what is believed. Where science ends and mystery begins, we say so.
